Formed in November 2024, inspired by Lyn Baines from Spangles and BIBA President Kara Martin, El Ritmo del Sol now has a solid base on which to build.

Under the musical direction of founder David Browning, chorus members come from a variety of musical backgrounds.   A folk singer, a wedding singer, a shower singer, karaoke singers and traditional choristers have joined experienced barbershoppers to make some great harmonies.

The  ethos is that we’re a group of friends who get together once a week to sing four part harmonies.   No divas and no cliques are allowed, we just sing happy, non religious music.Everyone goes home with a smile on their face.
